RenewBot is a browser extension that helps you negotiate bills and subscriptions. We built it with a strict no-data-collection approach: your information is yours, full stop.

Data We Collect

We collect no user data. This includes, but is not limited to:

• No personal identifiers (name, email, address, phone number)
• No financial or account credentials
• No browsing history or page content
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No cookies or tracking pixels

Negotiation History

RenewBot stores your negotiation history (such as past scripts, offers, and outcomes) exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is never uploaded, synced, or backed up to any server
• Is accessible only to you through the extension
• Can be deleted at any time by clearing the extension's local storage or uninstalling RenewBot

External Servers & Third Parties

RenewBot does not transmit any data to external servers, third-party services, analytics platforms, advertisers, or any other outside party. There is no backend server associated with this extension.

Permissions

Any browser permissions requested by RenewBot are used solely to enable the extension's core negotiation features on your device. Permissions are never used to collect or share data.

Children's Privacy

Because RenewBot does not collect any data, it does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published here with a new effective date. We will not retroactively change how existing locally stored data is handled, as that data never leaves your device.
